  • 1 pound edamame in the pod (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Let's Begin!

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a teaspoon of salt.
  • Add the edamame and return to a boil. Cook the edamame for 3 to 5 minutes until bright green and heated through. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Cook just until the garlic is fragrant.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  • Add the edamame and stir fry for 3-5 minutes until the edamame is well coated with the sauce.
  • Serve with more chili flakes on top.
