- 1 pound edamame in the pod (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp garlic minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Let's Begin!
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a teaspoon of salt.
Add the edamame and return to a boil. Cook the edamame for 3 to 5 minutes until bright green and heated through. Drain and set aside.
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Cook just until the garlic is fragrant.
Stir in the soy sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil. Mix well.
Add the edamame and stir fry for 3-5 minutes until the edamame is well coated with the sauce.
Serve with more chili flakes on top.
