Vegan Apple Bread
Fall is the perfect time to enjoy a warm slice of apple bread. This vegan recipe is made with fresh apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg, with a crumb topping and drizzled with glazed, and is sure to become a family favorite. The best part about this bread is that it's incredibly easy to make.

Dry Bread Ingredients:
- 8 oz. all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch nutmeg
Wet Bread Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp flax egg stir them into 3 tbsp of water.
- 6 oz. applesauce unsweetened
- 8 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil melted
- 2 tbsp almond milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples peeled and chopped
Crumb Topping:
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ⅓ cup pecans chopped, or any kind of nuts
Glaze:
- 2 oz. powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp almond milk
It's time to make apple bread!
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease the preferred size loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the dry ingredients; all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, kosher salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients; applesauce, maple syrup, olive oil, almond milk, flax egg, and vanilla extract.
Stir together the dry and wet ingredients until everything is incorporated and combine the apples until coated with the mixture. Set them aside.
Simply combine the crumb toppings; pecans, cinnamon, and coconut sugar in a medium bowl.
Over the greased loaf pan, gently pour the batter and top with prepared crumb toppings.
Bake for 50 minutes or until the inserted toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling for 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the glaze by combining almond milk and powdered sugar. Mix them well until the sugar dissolves.
Over the cooled baked apple pie bread, drizzle with prepared glazed.
Serve freshly baked along with vegan ice cream if desired.
