All-American Favorite Cuisine
America’s immigrants contribute to the diversity of culture throughout the country. Likewise, the All-American Favorite Cuisine showcases the multitude of choices available. In addition, visitors who travel around the USA experience a variety of cuisines from region to region.
The influences on the cuisine in these regions reflects that of the neighbors and the immigrants settled there. For instance, Tex-Mex, widely available in Texas, shows a strong influence from the southern neighbor, Mexico. Far away from that region, New England bears a strong resemblance to the English influence brought by early colonists.
As people move about, they continue to influence areas. For instance, you may now find Tex-Mex restaurants in northern states. Likewise, Cajun food, once primarily in the south, emerges in California, too. Still, the regional influences tend to remain consistent, with minor alterations.

Of course, while Americans enjoy a wide variety of cuisine, they develop a similar patter of customs. For instance, most Americans enjoy 3 meals a day. These include breakfast, when they first arise, lunch around noon, and dinner normally enjoyed about 5-7pm. However, a number of Americans choose to forego breakfast.
Moreover, these meals normally follow a similar pattern. Breakfast and lunch involve lighter fare as people rush back to work and general life. However, dinner often encompasses a larger meal, normally enjoyed at the end of the work day.
Likewise, many Americans consider dessert to follow a large dinner. In fact, they may partake of another snack prior to bedtime. Ideally however, doctors recommend three meals a day, with healthy snacks between them. Additionally, they suggest that dinner contain a lighter meal to allow digestion before bedtime.
