Health Benefits
Brussels Sprouts
Brussels sprouts are a cruciferous vegetable packed with nutritional benefits. Not only are they low in calories and fat, but they’re also overflowing with vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Eating Brussels sprouts provides the body with an abundance of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and folate. Furthermore, they contain large amounts of antioxidants which can protect your cells from damage, thereby helping to prevent disease.
Sesame Oil
Sesame oil has been a common ingredient in many cultures for centuries for its health benefits. Rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamin E, B-complex, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, sesame oil helps to promote better blood circulation and stronger bones. By helping to reduce inflammation in the body, it can also improve joint pain and muscle aches associated with arthritis.
Soy Sauce
Soy sauce has been used for thousands of years as a flavoring condiment to add depth and richness to food. But did you know that it also offers significant health benefits? The dark, salty sauce is low in calories, yet brimming with essential minerals like sodium, phosphorus, manganese and electrolyte-boosting potassium. Studies have shown soy sauce may also help reduce inflammation and regulate blood pressure levels, while antioxidants in its complex make-up can guard against cell damage.
